Vegan Spicy Orange Tahini Tofu Stir fry gluten free

Ingredients
  

Tofu

  • 1 14 oz block tofu
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp tapioca starch

Veggies

  • 1 bell pepper julienned
  • 1 zucchini chopped
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup carrots chopped
  • 2 green onion stalks
  • Mushrooms
  • Onions

Spicy Orange Tahini Sauce

  • Zest of 1 large orange
  • Juice of 1 orange
  • 1/4 cup runny tahini
  • 3 tbsp coconut aminos
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 4-5 tbsp chili garlic sauce
  • 1/2 tsp ginger powder optional
  • 2 tsp minced garlic

Instructions
 

Tofu

  • Preheat the oven 400 F. Make sure your tofu is drained and has been pressed for 15-30 minutes.
  • Cut the tofu into cubes. Coat the tofu in the coconut aminos and starch. Bake for 20-30 minutes until it’s as crispy as you like!

Veggies

  • Chop up all your veggies while the tofu is cooking!

Spicy Orange Tahini Sauce

  • Prepare the sauce while the tofu is cooking as well my mixing together all the ingredients in a small bowl.

Make Stir Fry

  • Sauté the veggie in a little olive oil.
  • Once they have softened to liking, add in the tofu cubes, and pour over the sauce. Combine well.
  • If the sauce is not sticking, add in 1 tbsp of tapioca or corn starch mixed with water and combine well.
